We believe that changing the way we produce and distribute food is fundamental to solving the world’s most pressing social and ecological problems.
Lovebrook is an ecological wellbeing project in the heart of the South Downs.
We're a for-benefit organisation based across 33 acres in the beautiful South Downs village of Kingston. This ambitious project includes market garden, orchard, therapeutic wellbeing days, farm shop, and plans for a forest garden, areas of rewilding, chalk grassland, woodland planting, camping areas and laying hens.
We pay our suppliers at least 50% of the retail value for any products we buy in, and when dealing with wholesalers, we check to make sure they pay fair prices to their growers.
Local food supports local economies. Food grown in the local community supports local jobs and encourages variety in our diets. It also requires less transportation, so it's fresher and has a smaller environmental footprint.
We absolutely love our veg bags from Lovebrook. Great portion sizes and very fresh. The whole ethos is wonderful, and we are very lucky to have it on our doorstep.
